  • Submitting a discussion post

We have been discussing, and you have been reading, what makes a good narrative, which is the need for narrative tension of old (view, belief, person, etc) vs. new (view, belief, person, etc) and the climax that leads to that change from old to new. For this discussion post, engage in some pre-writing activity: what is the old vs new in your story? How does your story relate to our course theme of food? Is this story about how you learned to cook? How you found out about a new cuisine?  Why is this food narrative meaningful and important to you? How did this event change you, your belief, or your attitude?
