Welcome to Phil 122!
Please introduce yourself to your group below.
Initial post is due Thursday. 10 points.
One Reply is due by Friday. 5points
[Starting with Module 2, one reply will be due by Thursdays. Ongoing discussion is encouraged. You will sign up to be a discussion leader for two weeks during the quarter. For those two weeks, you will post a response to the prompt and two replies. Although you will post only four initial posts during the quarter, you are required to reply at least once for every discussion. All students are required to answer the prompts for this introductory discussion and for the concluding discussion.]
1. Briefly tell us a bit about yourself.
2. Then tell us about a place or a thing that has value to you. What makes it valuable? Would other people find it valuable, or just you?
3. What are some of your questions about Environmental Ethics? What are somethings you have been thinking or wondering about? (Later we will organize these questions into different categories).
4. (Optional) Have you taken an online class before? If so, please share some pearls of wisdom about taking online classes. If not, and you are new to online classes or new to Canvas, ask questions here for other students to answer.
5. Reply to other posts, and to comments on your own post.
I encourage you to make offline connections in case you need to contact each other (to study together, get info about the course, etc.).
