Instructions for Instructor (CECE Post-Survey)

  1. If requiring students to utilize the CECE Post-Survey questions as a graded final reflection for your course, keep the Final Reflection assignment. Otherwise, remove or keep unpublished that assignment.
    1. If using this assignment, make sure it comes first, before the Post-Survey.
    2. Review the assignment questions, and remove either the forth or fifth bullet point, depending on whether you students did or did not engage with a community partner.
    3. If you make the Post-Survey required (it is currently extra credit), change the last line in the assignment description for the Final Reflection to reflect this change.
  2. Review the Post-Survey Assignment, and make any changes to the language or assignment to fit your class.
    1. Ensure that the reflection assignment makes it clear that the student completed the survey while also ensuring you cannot identify the specific student responses when you receive the aggregated responses at the end of the quarter.
    2. The current assignment is worth 5 extra credit points. If preferred, change this to fit your class, ensuring that the assignment is not worth more than 5 points.
    3. If making this required, ensure an alternate assignment with the same point value. For extra credit, the alternate assignment is also strongly recommended.
  3. Review the Alternate Assignment, and make changes to fit your class. Ensure that the total points equal that of the Pre-Survey Assignment.
  4. Delete or keep unpublished this Instructions page.
