Conferences

Conference Sign up

Conferences are a part of this class. If you miss your conference time or don't sign up at all, you will be marked absent for the ALL the days we hold conferences (it counts as two absences for this project).

Conferences will be held in my office (R230G) and will last ten minutes. Instead of a physical class, you will come to my office for conferences. Do not go to class. Go to my office during your scheduled conference time.

To prepare, you should very carefully read the assignment sheet and the rubric. Print and bring me a copy of your essay during the peer review day.

Bring a typed copy (BRING IT: PRINT IT UP AND BRING IT; I will not look at a computer).

Come with pressing concerns, questions, or issues that arose as you wrote your essay. Ten minutes goes by fast, so for you to get the most out of our time, you should come prepared with issues you want to cover about the assignment and your paper. If you come late, you will have less time.

I will give you my one-on-one advice about your paper and make suggestions.

DO NOT change your name at the last minute; do not move people's name from a spot you want. I can see who changed what and when and how. Come on time and respect your classmate's time.
