OVERVIEW

 On this page, you will learn about demonstrative pronouns.

READ & LISTEN

Read:

Demonstrative pronouns tell us which thing or which person someone is talking about when there are more than one.  This and that are used with singular (1) nouns.  These and those are used with plural (2 or more) nouns.  This and these are used for things or people that are close to us.  That and those are used for things that are far from us.
