-
- a) List your top three (3) multiple intelligences in order from your highest score to your third highest score.
- b) Identify one (1) learning activity for each multiple intelligence you listed in part a) that you’ve encountered in school that has allowed you to use that learning style.
- c) Identify two (2) possible careers for each multiple intelligence you listed in part a) that would allow you to use that learning style on a day-to-day basis.
-
- a) Describe an experience in which you had to use an intelligence that you were very comfortable with, and the outcome of doing so.
- b) Describe an experience in which you had to use an intelligence that you were NOT very comfortable with, and the outcome of doing so.
- Do you think people are born having particular strengths in certain intelligences, or is this something that is learned throughout their lifetime? Explain your answer.
Reflecting on your Learning Style
Choose one of the three options below to write about. Each response should be in full sentences and a minimum of 3 sentences.
- Consider, for a moment, your strongest learning style. What specific subject areas or learning activities (i.e. debates, group work, independent research) seem to suit you best given this preference?
- Now consider your weakest learning style. What specific subject areas or learning activities seem to be a challenge for you because of this weakness?
- Is one learning style better than another? Does one lead to success in work and in life more than the others? Explain your answer.
How will I grade this?
Your grade will be determined by the organization of thoughts displayed, and how well you present what you have learned about yourself and how you will use it in your decision-making process. Poor grammar and spelling will result in a lower grade. Remember each response should be in full sentences and a minimum of 3 sentences.
